BBQ on the Bay / Trump's First 100 Days

This Trump 100 Day BBQ on the Bay event is an event put on by the New Marin GOP that we are happy to promote. MCRA was instrumental in changing the dynamics of the Marin GOP (all 5 Executive Committee seats are CRA people) and wants to work with them going forward. Helping Marin GOP only helps our movement move forward, because if we don’t make it happen now……..

Marin Republican Women Federated Luncheon

Marin Republican Women Federated
Luncheon/Speaker Meeting, Wed. Nov. 20th

Location: The Club at McInnis, 350 Smith Ranch Road, San Rafael, CA.
11:30 am – 1:00 pm

Speakers:
Samantha Waldroup, TPUSA Bay Territory High School Field Representative
Aly Petre, TPUSA Northwest Regional Manager for the High School Department

Topic:
How To Activate Local High School Students in The Conservative Movement

Samantha Waldroup
TPUSA Bay Territory High School Field Representative

We have all heard of Charlie Kirk, an American conservative political activist, author, podcast/radio talk show host, and YouTuber. In 2018 at the age of 18, he founded Turning Point USA. One of social media's most engaged personalities, Charlie is on the front lines of America’s culture war, mobilizing hundreds of thousands of students on over 3,500 college and high school campuses across the country. Kirk's "Turning Point Live" is a three-hour streaming talk show aimed at Generation Z. The organization has been bringing Kirk’s You’re Being Brainwashed Tour to college campuses.

Turning Point USA is a non-profit, non-partisan, conservative student organization that promotes free markets, limited government, and constitutional education. The organization’s mission is to identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote these principles.

Our speakers, Samantha Waldroup and Aly Petre, will be talking about the organization's efforts, youth engagement in the conservative movement, and how you can get involved.

MRWF has raised scholarship funds to be made available for students to attend Leadership seminars and conferences. Hopefully, we will be able to learn how to engage our Marin County left-leaning institutions and find and inspire students to stand up for their conservative ideas, for their First Amendment rights and beliefs, and the governance philosophy embodied in our Constitution.

November Speaker Luncheon - Cold Case Squad!

Novato Republican Women presents

JAN MILLER - In 1991, Jan co-founded the group Citizens Against Homicide with Jane Alexander, who spent 13 years tracking down and putting away the man who murdered her 88-year-old aunt. Jan's own 19-year-old daughter Victoria, a freshman at Chico State, was murdered in 1984. That case remains unsolved.

Citizens Against Homicide is a nonprofit that provides support for the families and friends of homicide victims in their effort to compel law-enforcement agencies to be more responsive. Jan won the Jefferson award in 2016 for her work helping families who have lost loved ones to violent crime.

Homicide Detective STEVE NASH - Retired Detective Steve Nash of the Marin County Sheriff’s Office grew up in Marin. After a 4-year enlistment in the US Navy as Flight Crew on large Navy Jets, he began his 32-year career in Law Enforcement, including 20 years in the Investigations Division in the Sheriff's Office.

Steve is the past president of a worldwide law enforcement organization of 80 Foreign Countries and 8,000 members. He has co-authored two crime scene manuals and prepared training for the UN.

He will talk about a nonprofit he helped start to investigate cold case homicides for agencies that do not have the manpower or the financial funds to conduct the investigations. As part of his discussion, he will touch on Marin County cold cases he worked on prior to retirement.
